All recipes used are vegan. By this, we mean absolutely free of animal products including meat, eggs, and dairy… yes, we mean no cheese. They are also usually free of additional salt, oil, and refined sugar.
We make an effort to avoid agave, honey, and artificial sweeteners. Exceptions are when using a small amount of condiments such as mustard to flavor something. Of course, sodium, sugar, and fat also exist naturally in plants, so most recipes are not truly free of those things.
These recipes are healthy by our standards and would make great additions to your diet. However, if you are starting a completely new lifestyle and way of eating, do your research and discuss it with your doctor. We are doing this for us and we hope people can come along, but we are not healthcare professionals or nutritionists.
