Back to work this morning feeling 10 fold better. Apple Jack smoothie 1.2 for breakfast, this is a slightly different recipe then yesterday’s. Snacked on an apple about mid-morning then for lunch it was Masala leftovers. Killer work out at the end of the day then scuba lessons in the pool.
While I was out playing SEAL, the Lady was playing fast and loose with our dietary rules by having, Korean rice noodles and veggies.

Apple Jack Smoothie 1.2 – This is basically Lindsay from Happy Herbivore‘s recipe found here. I modified it a little to my taste, but this is her creativity in the kitchen we have to thank. So, thanks Lindsay!
- 1/2 cup plant-based milk
- 2 whole Nectarines
- 1 whole date, pitted
- ½ whole apple, diced
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup spinach, fresh
You should be seeing a trend at this point, I am a huge fan of putting spinach in smoothies. Here is why, spinach is high in protein and iron. Plus you can’t have Popeye arms with out Popeye’s diet.
