Day 6 – Garlic the Wonder Drug

Since we are no longer using salt, we have had to really experiment to make sure our food has enough flavor. We used a ton of salt before, so this is a big deal for us. One of our fave things is garlic. We used a lot before, but I’m confident we are averaging 3 cloves a day now. Naturally, we are wondering if that’s making our coworkers uncomfortable, BUT……

Did you know garlic has natural antibacterial properties? Studies have also shown that people that eat more garlic have a lower risk of certain types of cancers. You can read more about it here on the National Cancer Institute’s website. 

So eat up confidently and know you smell like disease prevention… HOORAY!
